has been running marathons since the '70s when he broke the Trans-Am record running from New York to San Francisco in 53 days! Today, the 68 yr old is on his 2nd day running a marathon from Boston to New York City to help raise money for The American Wheelchair Mission. This non-profit organization delivers new wheelchair and mobility aids free to the physically disabled. The run began in Boston yesterday arriving in NYC next Saturday-8th There will be fundraising events en route in Worcester, MA, Stafford Springs, Hartford, New Haven and Stratford CT. The marathon is being co-sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
